i must share the good news of the day...

our avocado wrap scarf was featured on ETSY's front page today...and in turn sold as well.. talk about a bright shiny spot on the day!

<--- yay!
that was a first for us... so i must admit im still smiling about it! ive actually got more of these to churn out ... all different of course.
im a little bit obsessed with making patches lately to attach to any and everything.. which is good.. but is causing me to amass even more fabric in the kitchen. im thinking a bigger house may be in order one day.. or at least an entire room devoted to fabric and such :)
anyhoo.. just wanted to share the good news that is ETSY success...

ive been looking forward to today for quite some time.. because as soon as i finish this here post i am officially doing nothing the rest of the day... ah. it is a self imposed idea we had this week, that it will be a day off .. no plans.. (well there is a grocery store run, but that doesnt count). i must say i might not know what to do with myself.. .. i dont think it will be too shabby to spend the day with the husband and the sweetest of sweet girls...

and now to nothing... :)

oh how ive been slacking on here... i think i say it in each post.. but its beyond true this month.. its been HECTIC! we just finished at the BIG CRAFTY.. which was amazing, so much talent, so many friendly folks, and some wonderful contacts...
<-- our setup

aside from all that comes the normal busy of everday life... lay off from a job (which has turned to fervent job hunting in our house), a 6 month old lady who has been teething like mad (two front teeth to show for it), and helping to take care of a sick parent.... i think a vacation is in order... unfortunately those cost money...

but on the brighter side of things.. we have a beautiful baby, are getting to spend this fantastic summer together, and our sweet & dirty venture is paying off....

<- enjoying peaches for the first time

it pays off much more to be an optimist... :)
